So. This one took ma a long while to get through because it was so emotional for me. So painful, yet so cathartic to have my own thoughts put into words by someone else. "Grief makes me want to make you understand." This and so many other sentiments spoke so deeply to me. This book will break your heart, but it is a beautiful story, beautifully told.

That's officially a wrap, folks. Second (and final) bachelor's degree secured, through pandemic and family tragedy. This experience would not have been complete if not for having my favorite nightmare last night: it's the end of the semester and you suddenly realize you've skipped a class all semester long and you're sure to fail, and therefore not graduate. Never gets old. PS better images of my pieces this semester to come.

Found a great tutorial from @1dogwoof and made a couple of small crochet coil baskets.

Sunny The Monarch Caterpillar. Newly hatched on July 14, and today 27 days later... In case you were wondering, the time a monarch spends in the larva stage of its lify cycle ranges from 11-18 days. Good old Sunny shows no signs of slowing down, powering through all the milkweed. We may have the world record holder oldest monarchcaterpillar, and possibly fattest. Perhaps Sunny has decided to remain a caterpillar indefinitely.
